A Decade of Exceptional ENT Care You Can Trust I’ve been getting treated by Dr. Anitha Kumari A M, ENT Specialist at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, since 2015 and I can say with full confidence that she’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever come across. In 2017, I underwent surgery for a complicated submandibular abscess and cyst. Dr. Anitha handled it with outstanding precision and care. From pre-surgery preparation to post operative follow up, every step was managed with genuine concern for my well being. In 2025, I returned with a new concern in the same region a suspected ranula involving the submandibular and sublingual glands. Rather than immediately proceeding with surgery, Dr. Anitha recommended a conservative approach, instead of rushing into another surgical option, she recommended a conservative approach with medication and close monitoring carefully evaluating the risks, especially around nerve involvement and visible scarring. I have always felt genuinely heard and supported throughout my treatment journey with her. She explains everything clearly, listens with patience, and always prioritizes the patient’s long term well being. As a family, all of us are acquainted with Dr Anitha ma'am for over 10 yrs, consulting her for all our ENT issues. She miraculously diagnosed my Multi Nodular Goiter during a routine examination for a cold in 2023. As advised, we cautiously observed the condition for the next two years, with no medication. Recently, with a sudden increase in size, she advised a Total Thyroidectomy to avoid the possibility of malignancy and other further complications. Thus, in April 2025, I underwent surgery at Manipal Hospital, OAR. Dr. Anitha ma'am was reassuring and supportive of me throughout the process, patiently clarifying all my doubts, counseling my family members, and watching for post-operative developments. Post surgery, she prescribed medicines conservatively emphasizing mainly lifestyle modifications. Other than the minimal post-operative inconvenience, recovery was mostly uneventful. Easily the best ENT specialist in town...We have been consulting Dr Anita Kumari for our 10 years old son who has had few issues such as ear pain and infection.  The doctor is very friendly and approachable.  She connects with the kids very well which makes it very easy for the kid and patient.  My son had to get his adenoid and tonsils removed surgically and Dr Anita made it a breeze.  My son was discharged in one day and the recovery was great.
